About me
Having trained as a painter at the Ruskin School of Fine Art and drawing at Oxford I moved into games in the mid-nineties. Starting my career at Inner workings in Glasgow, I moved on to Infogrammes Manchester and then Warthog, before arriving in Cambridge five years ago where I worked as art director in the Cambridge studio.
Over the course of my time I’ve worked on many projects from the madcap (Looney tunes and SpongeBob square Pants), to the realistic or fantastic (Killzone and Heavenly Sword 2). Recently I have completed work on Little Big Planet for the Psp before leaving Sony to pursue more varied work as a freelance artist.
As lead artist or art director on many of these projects I have spent much of my time in games in the thick of 3d production, modelling, texturing and animating the games characters, as well as running art teams. However whilst at Sony my focus turned towards concepting and I now spend my time designing characters and illustrating the moments and environments in which they find themselves.

I live with my partner and two children in Cambridge.
